Happy New Year!
I made the artwork greeting below in Pantone’s color of the year: Tangerine Tango.
I had a full December 31. I made spaghetti for lunch, met up friends and attended my cousin’s birthday. I planned to make leche flan but I did not have the time to make it anymore. Besides, we were already full from my cousin’s birthday.
The fridge is still full. January is going to be a sweet month. I still have the cupcake mix, brownie mix and ingredients for leche flan.
We had a simple media noche.
Prosperity candles
When we went to Manila last October, a relative introduced us to the prosperity candles. They were sold in National Book Store for P25.25. The idea seemed interesting and fun so we bought our candles. We finally got to light them last night.
These were the instructions.
This is a win-win kind of exercise. Each candle represents a blessing.
At 12 midnight, I arranged my candles. Here’s what I got:
I got orange=brightness as my great blessing for the year. I don’t how to interpret this one. It sounded positive unless it represents skin tone. HA! I love my tan.
New Year’s Eve
I found this video on and it is soo cute. I’ve always liked Zooey Deschanel’s positive and bubbly aura. This is a pre-New Year video but I’m sharing this anyway. Bonus: Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Zooey’s co-star in “500 days of Symmer”) is in it.

Ah, ganun ba? Inspired from a novena pala ito. I thought somebody just invented this one and patok naman sa amin. haha. Di bale pag malapit na 2013, I will remind you, Chyng. 😀
