Business Idea: Food Vending Carts

You might have decided that it is time for a change in your occupation. If this is the case, you might want to consider the purchase of a food vending cart. There are some things you will need to look into if this appeals to you. You should not simply go out and buy the first food vending cart that you come across. After all, you are going to be depending on this cart for your livelihood. You need to be certain that it is up to snuff. Do you want to buy a food vending cart? If so, here are a few things for you to keep in mind.

1. Do you see any rust?

Preferably, you should try to buy a brand new cart. However, this might be out of your price range. In which case, it may be necessary for you to buy one that is used. It is very important for you to thoroughly inspect any used food vending carts before you buy them. One of the things you need to be most concerned about is rust accumulating in the compartments where the food will be prepared or stored until it is sold. Needless to say, it would not be good if the food you sell gets combined with rust. Be sure there is no rust present anywhere inside the cart.

2. How old is the cart?

Older food vending carts often have problems that newer carts do not. These problems can sometimes get in the way of your business. They can prevent you from being able to easily move your cart. Obviously, that would be a big problem for you. Find out the age of any food cart that you look at. Do not consider buying a cart that is more than 10 years older. Older carts often have rust build up on the axles. This makes it difficult for the wheels to turn. This makes the cart harder to push. To view a selection of ice cream carts, take a look at

3. Is a payment plan available?

A payment plan would definitely be beneficial to you if you are strapped for cash. Some food vending cart retailers may be willing to work with you on a payment plan. Each retailer is different. Contact as many places that sell vending carts as you can find. This will ensure you have the greatest selection possible.

Wonderful November 2015

I had a steady November.  I worked, I traveled. I had fun in between. There were challenges. I am always amazed how God works. In times that I feel low, blessings came along.

November 1 and 2 were the days we remember the dead but you can trust Filipinos to make light of a somber occasion. Notice the hot pink tomb in the cemetery here.

My aunt’s friend sent us rambutan. Lots of them.

I have always egged my cousin to drive me to the Bood Promontory. It is an elevated area where the first mass in Philippines was held.  We used to cross the river in that area by hiring a boat to help us cross. Now, there is a hanging bridge and that is why I wanted my cousin to bring me there.

Standing on the middle of the bridge, I took a photo of Mt. Mayapay.

Oh, I saw this  photo contest in my  Facebook newsfeed. When I clicked on the link, I found my entry of last year’s contest being featured. No, I did not win. The Tinuy-an Falls entry won. Mine is the third one. Mine was taken in Laswitan, Cortes, Surigao del Sur. It is nice that two photos featured are both taken in the Philippines and in Surigao del Sur. I just hope they put captions to identify the locations.

The larger version of my entry is this.
This was taken last year and this year, my friend invited me again to join her on this trip.  My instagram page was filled with photos of that trip.

We made a side trip to the Britannia Group of Islands in San Agustin, Surigao del Sur. As the sun set that day, I was able to take this photo.

Oh, since it is almost December, I got to clean the living room and decorate my tree.

This artwork I made last November speaks a lot about my entire
