I think I’ve read about this in a finance blog somewhere! The blogger called it picky piggy bank. I think it’s a great idea! This reminds me to try it! 🙂
What a simple yet creative idea. I wonder if it’s effective for someone like me. SAHM kasi. I just borrow money from hubby. Maybe I should save hubby’s money na lang everyday.
this is a great idea. i remember my then bf, now husband, and i challenged each other before to try this. so we had each an improvised alkansya (made from pringles canister, haha!) and pinuno namin yun ng bills each time may extra money. that was january. sabi namin gagamitin namin for christmas. aba, when december came, nakabuo kami ng a little over Ph10k! akalain mo yun! ayun, we used it to buy gifts for our pamangkins. everyone happy! 🙂
Great idea to save money. When I was younger, I collected all my P5 coins and automatically put it in my piggy bank. I save too these days and doing so is really helpful when emergencies arise.
You can get the miniature furniture from the toy section. 🙂
hmm.. i think i cant save 20 pesos bill i need it for commuting. but to save, i usually keep 2k per cut off and immediately transfer it to my savings account. for me i dont like seeing money in my reach because i know one day i would get it and spend it easily. whehehehe
This sure is a great idea! It’s not so heavy on the pocket, and you get to save without even realizing it. I do a pretty similar thing though, saving all my P5 and P10 coins and putting them in my coin bank. I already got it halfway full. This is even better as P20 is a larger amount.
I think I would like to try this out!!! I am sure, I would be able to save a lot!
This is such a good idea. I wonder if my niece can handle one like this. Pamasahe palang baka hindi na nya kayanin, hehehe!
Great tip and good start in terms of “money saving”. I might try this one and lets see how far I can go.

Hmmm.. I think I should try with P50s mas gamit kasi ang P20.00 panukli eh.. hehehe
This is great idea… I should try this one soon..:)
Nice idea. Ako dati un un 5-peso and 10-peso coins. Kaso nagastos din nga paisa-isa. Anyway, this looks promising so I will try nga. Hehe

I save my PhP5 and PhP10 coins in a piggy bank but I think this is also a great idea to keep myself from spending on petty things. 🙂

I was trying to save 5 and 10 peso coin but eventually, nahuhugot din like Mommy said. Siguro maganda itago sa may padlock para di nadudukot. hehehe
